TREATMENT OF WORKS ON PAPER

We specialize in all things paper and understand their properties and needs. We can assess and treat: archival documents and bindings (on paper or parchment), photographic materials on all supports, architectural and technical drawings, maps, fine art (collage, drawings, watercolours, pastels), prints and more! If a specific project falls outside of our specialization we will be happy to recommend one of our colleagues.

COMPOSITE OBJECTS + MODERN MATERIALS + CONTEMPORARY ART

Beyond traditional works on paper, we can help with the preservation of composite artworks and objects containing paper, modern materials, unusual media and complex or variable features. With understanding of the materials and research into construction, we can assist in proper care during storage, handling and display. We are especialy knowledgable on plastic materials and can identify unstable polymers and media carriers in collections.

PLANNING + DISSEMINATION

We can apply our skills and knowledge to plan a conservation or collection care project, train partners and efficiently disseminate the results for visibility.
