ENCLOSURES + FRAME RETROFITTING

PROTECTION AND AESTHETICS

Using museum-quality materials and mounting techniques we can: 

  • Hinge and mat two-dimensional objects. 

  • Prepare sealed frame packages. 

  • Retrofit historic and original artist frames with vapour barriers, insulation, conservation quality glazing, rigid backing boards and hardware. 

For custom frames and large projects, we will gladly recommend skilled framers in the city.

CONSERVATION + RESTORATION

STABILIZING MATERIALS AND MITIGATING  UNINTENDED CHANGES

When found to be safe and appropriate, we can treat anything paper related:

A detailed proposal is submitted for approval before treatment, and all interventions are meticulously documented.
